Podcast: Findings from the 2017 JDA Consumer Survey

Results from JDA’s third annual Consumer Survey of more than 1,000 U.S. consumers show that shopping in-store is preferred over online, though only by a slim margin. To remain competitive against online marketplaces, retailers must embrace convenient fulfillment options – like buy online pickup in store (BOPIS) and buy online return in store (BORIS) – to boost foot traffic in their stores.

In this episode of the Supply Chain Nation Podcast, Jim Prewitt, Vice President, Industry Strategies, and Sam Nohava, Marketing Director, discuss how adopting – and incentivizing use of – these convenient customer service options can help retailers stay competitive and not only snag the online sale, but drive more online customers into the store and encourage further purchases.

Check out the results from the JDA Consumer Survey to learn more about how BOPIS and BORIS can be the cure for the store!
